The menu: Global Comfort Food.
Meaning...? Well, it’s simple dishes. Street food. Meals you’d eat in someone’s home. The stuff you crave. Hudson and I worked and reworked the menu for almost two years. We tested dishes on friends and family for several years, tweaking recipes each time. Everyone assumed we would focus on Italian food, but we knew we wanted to explore so much more. It became a tribute to global dishes.
Pasta is essential to us, but we don't want to be known only as the pasta people. You’ll notice we focus on “noodles” and sauces of any kind. By the way, Charleston SC Folks, make sure to check out The Noodle List , where you can reserve your weekly or monthly fresh noodle deliveries. One of my favorites is our durum wheat noodles with peanut sauce 🤌🏼
Lastly, let’s talk about our “Toni’s”. One afternoon in the kitchen, Hudson was working with our pasta extruder and started playing around with sizing. What started as a joke turned into our Toni family- the sassy little cousins to Rigatoni. Tiny Toni’s are half-sized rigatoni and are great for sauces. My favorite, however, is the “Zuppa Toni’s” which are the perfect size for soups, salads, and chilis. I’ve enclosed an easy weeknight soup recipe using our Zuppa-Toni’s.
